An anthropologist proposed a game to a group of children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of pastry under a tree fifteen metres from their current position. He then told them that whoever reached the basket first would have all the treats to himself. Surprisingly when he told them to go, the held each other's hands and went together. The amazed anthropologist asked why they did that and they simply said, "UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy when the rest of us are sad?" The anthropologist was emotionally touched shedding some tears.
UBUNTU is a Xhosa word which means `we are here because you are`
